What Causes Popping Sensation In Vaginal Area During Pregnancy?
39 weeks pregnant, 2cm dilated, went to L & D yesterday having contractions 2 min apart but no dilation, severe back pains and peirod like cramps but now I m having a popping feeling in vaginal area every time I go to pee what could this be? No fluid leaking or blood And no pain with it.
Since you are having severe back pain, contractions, no dilatation but popping feeling in your vagina you are suggested to visit your gynecologist and get clinically examined urgently. Since it is 39 weeks, the fetal heart sound (FHS) should be observed urgently to prevent fetal distress.
The treating doctor will see if its 'shaw', if the labour is progressing or not, since you complain of no dilation. Get checked per vaginally. This is not the time to sit back at home but get connected to your gynecologist / admitted in the hospital.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
