What Causes Popping Sound In Neck Along With Sharp Pain In Temples?

Hello I have a question . This sounds crazy but about a month and a half ago i dropped a clothles basket down stair off our two story foyr and my husband was walking under me i didnt know it . the 3ft tall basket full of clothles hit him in his head. it weighted about 45lbs . after he contiued to have headaches and neck pain i took him to med express they gave him Strong ib brufen and pain med ,mussel relaxers .he never takes meds much . the pain meds and musele relaxer make high sick he says he cant take them . but in the last week his neck is popping and he has sharp pains shooting to his temples. i have been rubbing ben gay and putting heat patch on is neck because the neck pain . what should we do now

Dear,
Yhe fall of heavy object onnhead may have damaged any cervical spine structure and that may lead to these symptoms.
Second possibility is that there may be some minor internal haemorrhage.
I will suggest u to go fr a mri if not done yet and visit a neuro asap.
Wish u a healthy life.
