What Causes Popping Sound In Ribs After Rebuilding It Post Injury?

Hello...I had a very bad bike wreck 10 months ago..broke 6 ribs on my left side...4 had to be rebuilt with the strips.Since i have weened off of pain meds I hear and feel a popping sound throught the day and at night when I more.My guess is part scare tissue...catrlige ..tendion movement..just how long will this go on?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, rib fracture need no extra or special treatments but it heals very well with little care, now in your case if this caused some symptoms then of course it may need investigation and for this you need to get done x-ray of chest and go for clinical examination, it may not be anything to worry still it can not be taken as granted hope this information helps.
