What Causes Positive HCG Results Post Termination Of Pregnancy?
i had an abortion on february 26th 2015... today is April 5th 2015.... i was 7 weeks along on 2-26-15.... i have been taking home pregnancy test for the last week and they are all positive, i have had some VERY very light pink bleeding when i urinate...... is it possible i am pregnant AGAIN or is the hcg just still in me??
It is difficult to say with certainty whether you are pregnant again or if the positive pregnancy tests and light bleeding are a result of leftover hormones from the previous pregnancy. However, it is possible to become pregnant soon after having an abortion, as ovulation can occur as soon as two weeks after the procedure.
It is recommended that you take precautions to prevent pregnancy until you are ready to conceive again. This can include using contraception, such as birth control pills or condoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
