What Causes Positive Pregnancy Result With Heavy Bleeding?

hello Doc. I m . I m 2 months pregnant, I met my doc. and I was given some injections and drugs. though i bleeded. I guess that was a sign that it worked but i checked my self and found out i still tested possitve. can I wait for days to stop bleeding before testing again? I really Wona get rid of it. thanks

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would suggest that you shoul at first wait to stop the bleeding fully. As some of the contents of your pregnancy could still be in there giving you positive UPT test.

Thus repeat a test after your bleeding stops fully. Also, contact your physician if your bleeding does not stop or your UPT still comes out to be negative after the bleeding have stopped.
