What Causes Positive Pregnancy Test Results With Absence Of Fetal Stomach?
hello i took like 4 pregnacies on tuesday and they all came back possitive. i called to make an appt with my obgyn to make sure i really am prego. so i get there and take at test it comes back positive. so they do a vaginal ultrs sound but they see nothing. i also have pcos. they did a blood test o see. but i have to wait until tomorrow. im nerves could i not be preo. what else could be wrong
False positive pregnancy test is very rare but it may occur if one had a very early miscarriage. Side effects of certain drugs can also cause such false results. You are suggested to check the medicines you are taking(you have not mentioned any here). It may occur if the fertilized embryo is unable to grow or implant.
It may be that the you are on fertility medications that may have raised your HCG, the pregnancy test is expired. You may have an ectopic pregnancy. You are suggested to get clinically examined & get USG (Uterus & tubes) done to detect the cause. Your treatment will depend on the clinical condition & reports obtained.
