What Causes Positive Results For Down Syndrome?
Hi there, I'm Kat I had my nt and blood results for down syndrome which came back 1/290, my nt at 12 wks thickest part was at 2.0mm my hcg was 2.97 and my Papp was 1.46. In reading about downs it usually says hcg is high but Papp is low so why would I get positive results?

Let us wait for a while longer and then retest for Down's using the quad test and confirm or rule out Down's. Please do not worry for now, and we should be able to get more conclusive results as time passes as the early stages can at times provide us with wrong or inaccurate information.
