What Causes Pounding Heart Beat While On Beta Blockers For High BP?
I am 46 and have just been diagnosed with hbp. The highest reading was 160/104. Two weeks ago I started taking a beta blockers and my next by reading was 120/80. I also suffer with anxiety. For the last few weeks I feel my heart pounding at night when I go to bed after I ve taken the beta blocker and my heart feels pinched. I only gave 1 kidney. Is this anxiety or something I need to check out?
