What Causes Pounding Sensation In The Head Upon Bending?

My husband is a fit and healthy 57 year old. He is not overweight and doesn t smoke. He has 2 glasses of wine most days. He bent over to pick something up yesterday and today and got a sudden rush of blood to the head, which made his head instantly pound. I wondered if it could be blood pressure and a friend lent us her kit. His blood pressure was 138/90, anything to worry about please?

How can you say it was rush of blood to the head. It could be some kind of transient Ischaemic attack or any ki d of vertigo which you thought was pounding the head. BP is normal.

I think not to worry.
