What Causes Pregnancy Symptoms And Test To Be Negative?
Hey i have PCOS and for the past 5 months i have had irregular periods and for the first couple of months i had all the signs of pregnancy so i took home pregnancy test. They all came out negative and so i read on the internet that with Pcos you might not know till you are four months so i waited. Today I took a blood test and that cameout negative also. My stomach is hard and getting bigger every week. My breast are sore and hard. I have back pains and hip pains. So i would really just like to know what s going on.
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is associated with irregular menstrual cycles, weight gain, and hirsutism. If your urine and blood test for pregnancy is negative, then pregnancy is ruled out. Sometimes, due to prolonged amenorrhea, there is fluid retention in the abdomen and breast, which can lead to breast engorgement and tenderness. I would suggest you to consult a reproductive endocrinologist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
