What Causes Pregnancy Symptoms While HPT Is Negative?
So my questions is can I still be pregnant even if I got a negative on a home pregnancy test? I was experiencing all the symptoms and after doing some calculations I thought I was about 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant so I took a pregnancy test just to make sure and it came out negative, I still have some of the symptoms especially a tight pulling feeling around my belly button and tight sore breast, and bloating. I had lost my appetite but I m getting it back. Should I take another pregnancy test later this week? Is there a possibility that I could still be pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Urinary pregnancy test can come negative on many occasions. It does not rule our pregnancy. Since you have delayed periods with symptoms related to pregnancy, it is better you get the following tests done to know about the status. 1. Serum beta-HCG levels 2. Trans-vaginal Ultrasound scan (TVS) These tests should tell you about what could be the reason for the symptoms you are experiencing. Kindly consult Gynecologist with the report for advise and management. Hope the information provided is clear. All the best.
