What Causes Pregnancy Symptoms While Having Regular Menstruation?
Hi my name is Erica Rushing.I ve been having symptoms like feeling nauseous ,Stomach cramps, aching in my back, throwing up,constant sleep, stomach growth, and mood swings. Its pretty easy for you to suggest that I m pregnant but the problem is that I m still getting my monthly period every first week of the month.Doctors have already said that its impossible to be pregnant and still get your full period but something has to reason up with why my stomach is shaping.I don t eat any food that produces fat.I exercise daily but if I am pregnant I don t want to do anything that can cause me to have a miscarriage. Can you please help!?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You may be having some hormonal disturbances, which can show up easily on some blood tests. Also, some women may get periods through their pregnancy too. So please do not forget to do a pregnancy test, if possible a blood test too and an ultrasound to rule out one, especially if you are trying for pregnancy.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions. Regards, Dr. Shilpi Kulshreshtha
