What Causes Presence Of RBC's In Urine?

I just received my semi-annual blood and urinalysis results. All were well within normal limits with the exception of 10-25 RBC's on Urinalysis. I have no symptoms and have not noticed blood in my urine. My doctor has scheduled a CT Abdomen Pelvis W/WO contrast. Of course my main concern is cancer, any thoughts?

Urologist 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist, i can understand your anxiety.
Your doctor doesn't seem to have found any physical finding on your body.
You should get the following tests,if not done, alongwith the CT scan.(CECT).
1. Urine culture,ACR and cytology.
2. blood routine, creatinine, RBS,LFT,and platelets. PSA if male person.
According to the reports, the cause may be known.
Cancer is a possibility, which may be suggested, after these tests.
Only a biopsy, can diagnose cancer with accuracy.
