Hi ,welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thank you fot writing to us. I would suggest you to wait till noon as it will take time for the action of medicines. If still the same amount of bloody sputum is there, I would suggest you to visit the emergency room again and get Chest X-Ray done. Also I need you to answer few questions
1. Were any procedures as in blood test or x ray done at morning?
2. Do you have past history of similar episodes?
3. Any past history of tuberculosis?
4. Any family history of tuberculosis?
5. Are there any other symptoms like difficult breathing, weakness, loss of weight or appetite?
6. Is the cough more at night?
Please write back to me. Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Anuja
