What Causes Presence Of Tissue Pieces In Vaginal Discharge?

Dear Doctor, I am 46 years old. Am having bleeding last a few days and thought I am starting a period. Yesterday I touched a piece of soft tissue at the cervix. I thought it could be some discharge tissue, but it is still there today. What is it? Should I go to see a doc? Thanks.

From your description I believe you noticed this the first time. To make sure about the tissue as you mentioned I would definitely advice to get a Obstetrics and Gynecology evaluation. Need to find out what exactly is the tissue like material.
