What Causes Pressure And Discomfort In Shin Area And Foot Of Legs?
Peroneus Longus I believe this is the muscle causing my problem. I am healthy 62 year old male. As long as 15 years ago I developed a sensation in the arch of both feet. Felt like a pencil eraser was being pushed up in my arch...no pain, just light pressure.Fast forward to current. While the arch sensation continues, now the outside muscle in both legs is causing problems. This is not the calf or inside muscle. Rather, it is the outside muscle that runs to the side of my shin below the knee and above the ankle. There is no pain at all, but just a strange feeling that is often accompanied by jerking of my leg(s). Can you help?
The pressure and discomfort involving shin and foot of legs of both sides can be part of peripheral neuropathy via diabetes, chronic smoking or else. As it is involving both sides of the legs, systemic cause is of first doubtful scene. A systemic evaluation with expert physician or consultant surgeon is mandatory in this instance.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
