What Causes Pressure And Pain In The Right Eye?
My mother-in-law is having pain/pressure in her right eye. The outside corner is slightly swollen inside. She doesn t remember anything getting into her eye. It started this morning and has gotten worse all day long. She is very uncomfortable. On. pain scale of 1-10 she says it is 8.

Her symptoms are suggestive of either stye or conjunctivitis problem. I suggest you apply topical antibiotic lotion or drop in the affected eye. Wash the eye frequently with clean water. Don't rub the eye.
If no improvement in a few days than consult ophthalmologist for detailed evaluation.
