Hello. I ve been experiencing cracking in the back of my head. I also have pressure in the back of my head, mostly on my right side. It s always a dull pressure pain that won t go away. I sometimes have a hard time with daily activities. What do you suggest?
Hello There are many causes of pain on one side of the head , it might be a simple muscle problem which cause pain or it's an occiptal neuralgia which is the irritation of the nerve passing on the back of the head or maybe it's a tension headache which can be in some cases on one side of the back of the head . I suggest that you should visit a doctor for further examination . In the meantime you can use some analgesic and muscle relaxants dugs. Apply a warm compress on the back of your head Take a warm shower Correct your posture to relieve tension from head , neck and shoulders .
Hope I answered your question Wish you a speedy recovery Best regards Dr. Noor farid
