What Causes Pressure In Abdomen When Suffering From Hemorrhagic Ovarian Cysts?

I just got released from the hospital . Diagnosis is hemorrhagic ovarian cysts . The pressure is intense & my abdomen is so tender . I m having what feels so much like contractions , even thru my back . Extremely painful & I want to know when I can expect the pain to lessen or subside . Wondering if I need to go back to the hospital when the pain is bringing me to tears ...please help

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Most hemorrhagic ovarian cysts are self-limiting and theu resolve within 2-3 menstrual cycles, so no direct treatment is really required. The only medications prescribed are to help with the pain, you can also take warm baths to help you soothe the pain and warm compresses to the region will also help. I hope and pray you do not experience the pain for too long and can get out of this as soon as possible.
