What Causes Pressure In Head And Chest Along With Dizziness?

Hello! I am 21 years old. 7 weeks ago I went out for drinks and Ofcourse I woke up hungover and extremely dizzy. That feeling brought on anxiety and that head pressure would not subside. A week later I started having chest pain on left side but more pressure less pain. The pain then shifts from left to right with head pressure dizziness and feeling of faint. I went to my doctor 4 weeks ago took a blood test and EKG and everything came back perfect and he said I m 100 percent healthy. After that I decided to get a second opinion from another doctor and he took the stroke test which involved me lifting my arms and moving my eyes around the room. He then took another EKG and said I was fine. Everyone is telling me It s in my head but I m still nervous. What do you think doctor? What could be giving me chest pressure, head pressure, feeling of faint and fatigue?

Hello,

Feeling of weakness and fatigue are indicative of thyroid problem, get T3, T4, TSH done. Your treatment will depend on the reports received. Dizziness that you are experiencing can be due to poor general health, anemia, low blood glucose, low blood pressure and dehydration. Dehydration can also cause headache, pressure in the head. You are suggested to take meals in time.

Do not skip meals, take home made food rich in iron, calcium, minerals, etc. This will help your blood sugar to stay normal. You can take supplements. Stay adequately hydrated. Take water and fluids in time. This will help to maintain normal blood pressure. You can get examined by an ENT to rule out vertigo.

Avoid taking alcohol, recreational drugs, smoking, etc. as they will trigger your symptoms. Pressure in the chest is because of stress (physical and emotional). Avoid stress. It can be side effects of certain medications you take. Stay away from anxiety. If needed you can get connected to a Counselor and get a complete medical check up done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
