What Causes Pressure In Head, Fever, Fatigue And Loss Of Appetite?
For the past five days now I've had what seems like a lot of pressure in my head. It started as what seemed like a headache the first day along with a slight fever and fatigue and loss of appetite, to know constant pressure, and sore throat. My head hurts the most when I cough or bend over. I've been taking sudafed for sinuses but it does not seem to be working. Is there anything I can do to help this pressure go away?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Pressure in head with sinusitis, fever cough is most likely to be inflamation/ infection of sinuses. * You need to have antibiotic ( Azithromycin) , Anti cold pill with decongestants ( with levocetrizine/ chlopheneramine maleate with paracetamol with caffeine) , cough syrup with bromexine .B complex to accompany it. - vapor inhalation with eucalyptus drops would releive head pressure. - Hot saline gargles, avoid exposure to cold/allergens would help. * Consult your doctor for appropriate dosage after examining you. Thanks.
