What Causes Pressure In Nose Down To Ear And Neck?
I started having a cold a week ago . I got better with the fever but my right side of my nose is severely congested. When i breathe in from my nose I hear a small pop & then pressure & down my left side of my head , ear & neck. I have an annoying headache that won t go away. What can it be? What can I do or take? Even laying down on a people hurts my head.
You probably have Sinusitis which is infection of sinuses (spaces in face bones containing air). Majority of time this is secondary to cold or flu. Other possible cause in your case(as you have blockade on one side and headache on other side) could be deviated nasal septum (midline cartilage in nose) with enlarged terbinates (mucosal folds in lateral wall of nose).
I would suggest you to kindly visit an ENT specialist for proper detailed investigation and further treatment. In case of sinusitis a course of antibiotic along with pain killers and decongestant will do the needful. In case of deviated nasal septum surgical correctdefinitive tretreatmentnit.
I wish you rapid recrecovery.
