What Causes Pressure In The Chest And Breathing Difficulty?
Two nights ago I experienced an extreme heaviness in my chest. I had trouble breathing and it lasted for several hours. I was light headed and unfocused and my heart was racing at about 94 BPM. I also had dull aching pain in my upper back, mid back on both sides of my spine and in my upper arms. Since then I have very little appetite and I have pain in my chest. I considered going to the ER but have no insurance so was afraid to go. I am a 50 year old female with a smoking habit of over 20 years. I also suffer from high blood pressure and breathing/sinus issues.

hello friend , according to ur history it seems u possess very high risk of myocardial infarction ,specially with hypertension,smoking and a female age 50 years ,all these multifactorial pattern make u at high risk of myocardial infarction....it can be of Various NSTMI OR STEMI, which can only be assessed with a ECG, ECHO and troponin test ,,,kindly make sure that u get investigated with it ,then further treatment depends on investigation.But one with all these multifactorial pattern making prone for myucardial infarction must get investigated.thank you for the question hope u got aliitle help with it.
