What Causes Pressure In The Chest Upon Deep Breathing?

Hi Doctor, When I take a deep breath I feel a slight pressure on the left side of my chest close to my collar bone. I was diagnosed with Afib this past year. I currently take Xarelto and I am also on a blood pressure medication. This morning my pressure was 117-72. I am almost 44 yrs old and over weight.

hi sir/madam,
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.

Also known as a collapsed lung, Pneumothorax refers to the accumulation of air within the pleural space.
Chest pain on the affected side can range from very minor to quite severe. Pleurisy. Inflammation of the lining of the lungs and chest can result in pain when the individual takes a deep breath or coughs.

Hope i was helpful.
Have a healthy day.
