General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms may be due to anxiety. On the other hand, a good check with your doctor is needed to rule out other important conditions. If the examination is normal and you have had these symptoms for more than 2 weeks, the doctor may start you on SSRI drugs (sertraline or citalopram for instance).
You may also benefit from psychotherapy sessions to help you how to handle stress.
Avoiding excess coffee and energy drinks, or alcohol and quitting smoking might be important as well.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
