Hi,
Noted your history of pressure in head, feeling of head hanging upside down, feeling of clenched throat, feeling of can not breathe,
stiffness in neck, shoulders and spine.
Blood pressure being normal the cause of
hypertension is ruled out.
There can be local problems like spasm of the head and neck muscles causing nerve pinching and thus the symptoms as you have mentioned.
Stress and
anxiety too can cause such problems and is one of the commonest causes.
Viral infection can have similar symptoms.
This can be diagnosed well by the following ways:
Consult your Primary Physician first for proper clinical evaluation so that he can decide the clinical diagnosis and get you investigated and refer to the proper specialist as required.
This may be in the form of
CT scan, MRI, tests of blood and so on.
Once a proper diagnosis is done the management will be as per the cause found.
If all the clinical evaluation and investigations are normal then the stress and anxiety factor can be treated to get you a relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
