Im 59, post menopausal for 10 years. I receive hormone therapy, progesterone in capsule form nightly, and estrogen/testosterone in the form of implanted pellets. Although I have experienced light periods with this therapy, I had a strange episode which is why I m consulting you. Last night I experienced a squeezing sensation of both ovaries. This lasted about 2 hours, and I fell asleep. This morning I had no discomfort or abnormal feelings. I showered and went to work. I am a massage therapist, no heavy lifting or strenuous activity. Without warning I stood up and I could feel the bubbling up of warmth from my vagina and warm fluid running down my legs. Long story short my panties and pants were soaked, as well as my stockings and a large spot on the carpet. No pain, however once I cleaned up; it happened again. The bleeding has slowed considerably, but I am experiencing low back discomfort. Is this cause for alarm, or should I wait and see if it subsides?
