What Causes Pressure In Throat And Chest Due To A Growing Lump?
I have a lump in my chest/throat area which seems to be going in size. The lump is soft to the touch with no hard spots; however, when I turn my head, I feel pressure on my throat and chest. The lump has grown in size over the past 3 months. I feel somewhat tired but I am still able to carry out normal activities. No fever, no loss of appetite. What do you recommend?
Hi I have gone through your complaints.lump in throat and chest region causing pressure and soft to touch most likely be thyroid swelling.its important to confirm and characterise the lesion.go for high frequency scanning of neck to know lesion.if it is there to know its extension in chest ,CT neck & thorax is done.dont worry.no fever and the lump has grown in size in 3 months best thing is to exclude any focal lesions.dont neglect.early intervention is best. Thank you Regards Vasundhara
