Hi, I am a healthy 22 year old female with a problem which happens only when I wake up in the morning. I feel like there is a bit of pressure on my lower abdomen and a slight dull ache. I am curious to find out why I am having this, it only happens when I've slept on my on my stomach.
Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum. I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.
As a physician, I would like to comfort you that there must not be anything wrong with you. Te pressure you are feeling is might be due to continous pressure you are putting on abdomen while sleeping.
I would like to suggest that you should change your sleeping habits and the conditions will improve. Also you should keep an eye for warning symptoms of abdominal or pelvic diseases like blood in stools or urine, constipation, fever, lower back and pelvic pain, Lumps, Swellings.
And to be 100% sure visit a physician for thorough checkup and Ultrasonography of Abdomen and pelvis as well as CT Abdomen and pelvis.
