What Causes Pricking Sensation In The Head After A Wasp Sting?
Hi, I was stung 3-times by wasps last night about 9:00 pm. Twice on the side of my head and once on my arm. Arm is ok. My head feel like needles keep pushing into it. My neighbor is a surgical nurse. She could not find any stingers. I live by myself. I am 66 yrs old in pretty good health and not over weight.

Wasp bite causes allergic reaction locally.this allergic reaction is due a compound called histamine released at the site of sting.this histamine causes itching redness pain at the site of sting.in such situations antihistamics such as cetrizine will help they decrease allergy and the discomfort caused due to allergy.hope my answer helps you.thank you.
