What Causes Profuse Sweating And Anxiety Upon Ceasing Depo Provera?

Hi I am 52 and have been on the depo provera Jab for approx 25 years. In June I had my last Jab and didn t go in September as I think I need to know where I stand re the menopause. I have started sweating a lot mainly on my heAd, am anxious and weepy. What do you suggest I do ie go on hrt ?

I understand your concern. The symptoms you are describing are due to postmenopausal lower hormonal levels. Usually these symptoms occurs after 1-2 years postmenopause. Generally symptoms are mild and tolerable and disappears on it's own.
However if you feel symptoms are affecting day to day life and severe then you can consult gynecologist and ask if HRT is required or not.
