Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm an admissions director at a private school. Conducting up to 3 school tours in a day is common. I've been charting my steps, about 5000 steps a day and we stop often. I have been profusely sweating and getting very fatigued which is out of the norm for me. What could be causing this?
As symptoms of secondary hyperhidrosis are there [ which are out of proportion] thus consult with your primary physician who might check with thyroid Profile [for hyperthyroidism], blood sugar, panic [anxiety] disorder, or any heart disease and exclude them with relevant examination, investigation, and consultation.
As I'm unable to take a proper history, thus it could either be localized [sweating of palms & soles or of Axilla] or generalized [diabetes, hyperthyroidism, heart problem] sweating. So consultation with your attending physician is mandatory.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Munish Sood
