What Causes Profuse Sweating When Diagnosed With Tooth Decay?
Hi. My son is 3 1/2 years old and is wearing a size 8/10 in boys pants and shirts. He also has really bad tooth decay in his 4 top front teeth. He sweats profusely all day long. I m not sure if this is a sign of a medical condition or what kind of doctor I should have him see.
As per your complain it seems that your son is suffering from Hyperhidrosis that is excessive sweating and is not a normal thing and can be due to causes like Infections, hormonal disturbances, problems related to Central Nervous System etc.. But many a times it is not a sign of any serious illness..
As far as tooth decay is concerned, the sweating does not seems to be due to it and you need to consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination and scans can help in ruling out the cause and treatment can be done accordingly..
For tooth decay consult a Pedodontist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case if teeth can be saved Root Canal treatment can be done but if infection is gross extractions will be advised..
Hope this helps..
