Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I resumed taking Alendronate Sodium Tabs. USP about 3 weeks ago. I have been having ear pressure progressively getting worse... they feel plugged 100% now. Can this be from this Rx. I ve also been talking Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride extended release tabs, 120 mg. Are these interacting?
The progressive ear pressure does not seem to be interaction of Alendronate sodium and Pseudophedrine hydrochloride. However, the Pseudophedrine is associated with dizziness and headache as part of side effect profile. Increased dizziness may present with ear pressure as well. Kindly discuss the same with your treating physician for further guidelines of medicine adjustment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
