What Causes Progressive Tiredness?

Hi. My mother is 75 years old. For about 10 years, she has been progressively tired all of the time. Now, she has had several falling spells and is in a wheelchair to keep from falling. She has seen 2 neurologists that cannot diagnose her. Do you have any clues?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Weakness at this age is usually due to malnutrition, dehydration and anemia.
2. Rarely hypothyroidism presents at this age.
3. Need to watch her nutrition. As the neurologists are unable to find anything related to neural system, it is possibly related to malnutrition.
4. She will require caretaker support along with walking stick. Moving around with good activity will improve her morale. Family support is necessary. More details necessary for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
