What Causes Prolonged And Heavy Periods?
Hi, I ve been on microliter a few years. Last weekend I was going on holidays so I didn t take my 7 day break. Normally I would get my period on the Saturday but as I was still taking the pill it didn t come. However, two days later I got it and it has been here now for almost 8 days and is moderately heavy. What should I do? Should I be worries? Thanks.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
After prolonging period by taking pills a delayed period can be seen. It should decrease or stop in a day or 2.
If it doesn't stop on its own you can still start the next pack once the flow starts decreasing to minimal.
Do not start if the flow doesn't come down as it will disrupt the cycle.
If that happens then kindly consult your gynecologist for further management.
