What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding Post A Biopsy?
Hello Dr. Rynne! I am Nandita. My mother-in-law missed her periods from Feb and on May 18th she again had it. But till date she is bleeding. Last year on July she had the same problem, but on consulting a nearby gynecologist, she underwent a biopsy test and after some medicine dosage she became alright. Now she is facing the same problem. Need your suggestion or this.

She can take drugs like Tranexamic acid to control bleeding. If bleeding persists for long, better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
