What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Cycle?
Hi. My name is Samantha. My problem is that I usually have a 7 day menstrual cycle but up until September, My cycles have been prolonged. I am now seeing my period for 14+ days. I have been taking birth control pills to help regulate my period but it doesn t seem to work. I m more likely to bleed more. Help?!

Based on your symptoms I advise you to get ultrasound done. Your symptoms could be because of dysfunction uterine bleeding, Fibroids, adenomyosis etc.. So ultrasound will help you to rule out any underlying pathology.
