What Causes Prolonged Menstruation With Abdominal Pain And Nausea?

Hello, I m 20 years old (I m a virgin) and I started my period when I was 12. I don t feel like my period is normal. I ve went to so much doctors but they just seem to give me a bunch of tablets and nothing happens. My period is usually 6-7 days, I can say that I get pain about 5 days of the duration of my period. I usually can t eat, because then I feel like vomiting. My lower tummy hurts a lot and around the uterus area, and sometimes my back and breasts. I ve vomited numerous times on my period, I go to the toilet more than usual. Is this normal?

Hello Dear. It may be just normal because in the initial years of menstruation atleast till 20 years periods will be irregular due to anovulatory cycles. You can get a ultrasound abdomen to see if ovaries and uterus is normal. Speak to gynecologist and rule out conditions like Polycystic ovarian disease. If everything is normal just ignore the symptoms. It may be just out of stres.
