What Causes Prolonged Periods And Tissue Like Vaginal Discharge?

I ve been on what I think is my period for almost two weeks now a couple days ago I used the restroom and when I looked down in the toilet there was a piece of blood tissue I was wondering what is going on why am still bleeding and what was that pink flesh I had my son 5months ago and I m wondering if that s just extra tissue ?

Hi,

Irregular, prolonged or scanty flow, bleeding with clots is possible while breast feeding. The bleeding you have could be just irregular and profuse bleeding following the absence of periods and hormonal imbalance. Another scarce possibility is of early pregnancy and abortion lies and needs to be excluded by USG scan, in case you had unprotected sex these days. Take rest. Take Gynae C.V.P Capsule. A lactational bleeding would be controlled with this. In case there is no relief in 2 days, you should consult your gynecologist for further assessment.
