General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Femilon is an oral contraceptive having desogesterel and ethynilestradio. Now please read this carefully. Cysts are often caused by hormone changes. Using birth control pills can sometimes help regulate hormone levels , so that the cysts can be taken care of.

Your doctor advised FEMILON so that cysts can be taken care of. While irregular menstruation, scanty flow or high flow are most common symptoms beside others. So once again take ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE for the management for cysts. For heavy flow consult your GYNAE and get his opinion.

Hope this will help you. Further if any question I will reply happily. Good luck.

Regards,
Dr. Het Ram Bishnoi
