What Causes Prolonged Smell Of Bleach Long After Inhaling It?
I was cleaning the bathroom with straight bleach and inhaled the fumes. It has been almost a week now and when i inhale and exhale deeply it smells like that drowning smell when water goes up your nose. My nose bled easily at first now it doesn t do that but the drowning smell is still there. I never had this happen before with bleach and never lasted this long. any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. Should I see my doctor?
Inhaling bleach fumes can cause several health risks including damage or burning of the lining of the esophagus or lungs. That can lead to coughing, gurgling breathing sounds and trouble getting enough air. These symptoms can be mild, moderate or severe depending on the amount of exposure and your respiratory health. Bleeding from nose due chlorine burns. better you consult your family doctor.
