What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hii.. I had sex on the last day of my period. And after one week again I started to bleed.. Bleeding was less but it lasted for more than 6 days. After 2 day when it stopped I did a pregnancy test which was negative. Nd now I have missed my period. It has been 15days than my usual date nd 3 days from the date of last month when I had bleeding for the second time

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Scanty bleeding what you had could be due to presence of uterine/cervical polyp or inflammation of cervix called 'cervicitis'. Also, it could be extension of your period caused due to hormonal irregularities.
However, since the bleeding has happened earlier and now followed by delay in getting period, it would be advisable for you to take another pregnancy test.
In case pregnancy test is negative, you need to be investigated for what could be the cause in the following manner.
1. Per speculum examination and clinical evaluation by consulting Gynecologist.
2. Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis to know if there are any lesions present in uterus and cervix.
3. Blood levels of FSH and LH levels to know the hormone status.
Accordingly, you can consult Gynecologist with the reports for appropriate management.
