General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
I think it is dysfunctional uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance in perimenopausal/menopausal state.

But you should consult the gynecologist exclude other causes like:
Endometriosis
Cervicitis
Fibroid/adenomyosis
Cancer
Ovarian cyst/follicle
Endometrial dysplasia.

You should undergo following test:
USG
Endometrial biopsy
Hormonal assay
PAP smear
Ovrian follicle study

Doctor may provide following advice:
Tablet meftal spas/ibuprfen
Tablet oral contraceptive pills or norethesterone
Tablet tranexemic acid

Hope this may help you.
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
