What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding Along With Abdominal Cramps?

I am a 41 year old female who gave birth in November 2016. I did not get my period again until several months later in May. My period lasted from May 14 - June 30. I then had 10 days without my period, and it started again. I have now been on my period since July 10th. It is a heavy flow most days with large blood clots. I do experience some cramping. I have been feeling very run down with this as well. I went to my Dr. towards the end of June. I was not anemic. I didn t have any thyroid issues, and I am not pregnant. Any ideas?

you should have an abdominal ultrasound atleast so the underlying pathology should be then I can comment on your condition..
