Hello,
The most common cause of
irregular vaginal bleeding is hormonal imbalance, low estrogen or
high testosterone levels, PCOS, thyroid issues,
pituitary tumors, etc. Unhealthy lifestyle may also cause such symptoms, like obesity (being
overweight), anemia, poor general health condition, stress (physical and emotional) and anxiety. You are suggested to get a Complete medical check up done. Get all blood work outs, imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing the symptoms. You will be treated according to the pathology detected and the severity of your symptoms.
You may be referred to a gynecologist for further follow up treatment if needed. Get treated at the earliest. In the meantime, take home made nutritious food that is rich in protein, calcium, iron and minerals or you can also take supplements. You should maintain healthy weight and avoid junk oily food, packaged food, frozen food,
trans fat, refined flour, excessive butter, etc. Do regular walking and exercises. Cut on addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
