What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding While On Daflon?
Hi, i am having uterine fibroid and was suffering from excessive bleeding in normal days of my periods and tenderness in my breasts , then my doctor prescribed me to have daflon 500mg for 6 months . after starting the medicine i felt better .now since 3 months iam taking daflon . now i am having periods since two weeks . so i need your advice whether i should stop taking daflon or continue it till prrscribed time .
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your symptom of vaginal bleeding following a diagnosed uterine fibroid despite usage of daflon I Strongly believe that this is due to the fibroid The larger the fibroid the larger the volume of vaginal bleeding The drug daflon causes blood vessels constriction but it is not enough to control the bleeding In view of this please see a gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and possible surgical interventional procedures(myomectomy) I hope this helps Regards
