General & Family Physician, Dr. Piyush K's Response
Welcome to health care magic.
I understand your concern. Firstly want to know your age and whether you were having normal bleeds before this episode. Also are you taking any blood thinning agents(clopitab, ecosprin etc) which can also cause prolonged bleeds. If you are >35 then such prolonged bleeding needs to be evaluated under guidance of gynaecologist. But if there is so longer duration of bleeding i would definately advise my patient transexamic acid tablet preparation to decrease the bleeding periods and to do hormonal assay work up as hormonal imbalance could also be a cause. Hope i have answered your queries. Thanks and regards
