What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Spotting In A Woman With PCOS?
I have Heavy red blood (it feels fresh like I have been cut). Not sure if it s period blood or not because I have been spotting for more than 2 weeks and I am also on my first round of clomid. However I am due to have my period now. I also have PCOS so can someone tell me what is going on? I am in so much cramp pain.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Abnormal vaginal bleeding could be caused by many medical conditions.Among these causes, hormonal imbalances/ovarian dysfunction that accompany PCOS may be a more likely cause in your case. However, other causes will still have to be eliminated. Some of these causes include: -Pregnancy/related complications -PID/STIs -Pelvic masses like fibroids, cancers I will suggest you see the Gynecologist for evaluation. You may need a pelvic ultrasound and an STI work-up.Your symptom may not be due to clomid. Hope this will help Wish you good health
