What Causes Prominent Veins In The Forearm?

I am a 45 year old female and am having progressive forearm vein enlargement. I am 5 3 and weigh 122# and am a runner. I just found out my creatinine level is 0.1 elevated above normal and am having it re- checked. Can the two be associated? Getting worried about the enlarged veins and am embarrassed about it. What do you think is going on?

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Venus TOS(Thorasic Outlet Synderome) with Axiallry Vein Compression causing forearm vein enlargement.
Check out for the Scaleni Anticus Syndrome/ or perctoralis minor synderom / or extra cervical rib syndrome by CT neck and thorasic outlet.
Your creatinine has not much raised and does not seem to be cause of the prominent forearm veins.
So you should not worry about the raised creatinine.
